gstreamer to motion or zoneminder

Hello,

I'm wondering if softwares such as motion or zoneminder can be used as sinks
to which would be redirected a gstreamer video flux.

For instance streaming a video from a raspberry pi camera to a more
powerfull machine with gstreamer is one of the best solution because the
capture of the picam flux is hardware accelerated on the pi (raspivivid)
so one can get full HD video.

Only then (on more poxerfull machine) would it make more sense to start the
more cpu demanding tasks and the ones which are also more easy to
parametrize by software with GUI (even if i know that gstreamer is able to
perform many of them) such as : motion triggered (many parameters and
complexity to chose the triggering zone and thresholds) saving in files and
alerts, transfer to TFTP server ... with motion or zoneminder

Do experts around know if this is possible ?

thank you

regards
