Plane address mismatch of vaapi video buffer

The appsink Thomas is using is probably not claiming to support
GstVideoCropMeta (or GstVideoMeta for that matter)... so it seems like
a bug that it added the meta instead of making things work without.

So what can I do in this situation?
Is there another way to get the offsets / strides?
