Which gstreamer plug-in source code to reffer ?

Hi guyz, 

As a part of my use-case, I have to develop a encoder  plug-in for our own
hardware. I have drivers and a related test application which encodes video
frames successfully. 

Where am stuck is how to make a gstreamer plug-in for the same ? Can anyone
please suggest which gstreamer plug-in's source code I can refer to get an
idea how to build such plug-in. 

Please help as am not aware where to start from !
