is there dynamic control for timeoverlay for a live stream?

That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks for your response.

Also, I realize now that I should use gst-inspect instead of the
documentation. I had looked at the documentation on timeoverlay and did not
find much. But using gst-inspect shows that timeoverlay has tons of
properties that I was unaware of.
