getting balck-and-white image

hey it may seem silly but i am struggling with this error

i am reading a ogg video file and writing it to the other ogg file
 
reading pipeline  filesrc!oggdemux!theoradec!videoconvert!appsink
writing pipeline   appsrc!videoconvert!theoraenc!oggmux!filesink

the new ogg file created is of black-and-white which was originally in color 
and in each frame is divided into 9 sub frame i have attached the screen
shot of it

not able find the reason for this error and how to correct it
