Status on MFC encoding support?

Hi

What is the status on support for MFC supported video coding?
Are there any known effort to support hardware video coding for the Exynos
family in GStreamer?

Allegedly Samsyng did get the drivers for videocoding via the V4L2
framework included in the kernel and they also did some work support
through OpenMax, but I am not sure what the exact extend and implications
of that work are.
