Set up device on Gstreamer

Is there another way than "device=/dev/video1" (for example) to set up the
device I want to use for the stream?

I would like to connect through the usb port, somehting like:
device="(usb-0000:00:14.0-2)" as you can find it with the 
v4l2-ctl --list-devices command. ("HD Pro Webcam C920
(usb-0000:00:14.0-2):")
