cross platform multi channel audio -

I just noticed that on windows there is no sound source plug in ( based on wasapi, directsound etc.) that support more than 2 channel input.

But I found a nice library  that supports multiple audio api’s  on multiple os like windows, linux and osx:

Wouldn’t it make sense too use these classes for a new cross platform audio plugin?
