Plans to support AV1 video codec?

Someone would need to write a elements around the decoder/encoder
library and add support to the relevant muxers/demuxer.

I'm not aware of any concrete plans, it's mostly a matter of someone
finding the time to do so. Go ahead if you were asking because you
wanted to spend some time on that :)
