Hi,
I'm using gstreamer v1.8.3 and alsa-lib v1.0.29 in linux based system.
And sometimes noise occurs after 20 minutes playback.
After some debugging I find noise issue clears if I change the alsa-lib
version to 1.1.2.
Also I find yocto project release gstreamer v1.8.3 with alsa-lib v1.1.2 and
Beyond Linux from Scratch project recommend to use alsa-lib v1.1.2 with
gstreamer v1.8.3.
Q1. Is there any reason that is recommned to use alsa-lib v1.1.2 with
gstreamer v1.8.3?
Q2. I also tried with pulsesink not alsasink and noise issue clears with
pulse (alsa-lib used v1.0.29).
If noise comes from alsa it has to be reproduced with pulsesink but
not.
So I think noise issue comes from alsasink not alsa.
Does aynone know why noise issue clear with pulsesink ?
I did googling but only find some issues were solved using plusesink
(I cannot find clear answer).
