Missing coreelements

Do you have $prefix/$libdir/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcoreelements.so ?

If yes, what do

  $ ldd -r /absolute/path/to/libgstcoreelements.so

and

  $ gst-inspect-1.0 /absolute/path/to/libgstcoreelements.so

show?
