undefined symbol: cairo_destroy

Hello,

I have compiled from source gst,base,good + cairo 0.1.14

No compile errors if --disable-examples for good is set.

However when trying to validate the lib with gst-inspect-1.0 cairo
GStreamer-WARNING **: Failed to load plugin
'/home/..../lib/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcairo.so':
home/..../lib/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcairo.so: undefined symbol: cairo_destroy
No such element or plugin 'cairo'

confirmed that home/..../lib/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcairo.so exists.

What can I do to define the symbol?
