Hi,

Problem solved. Somehow I had managed to get gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly
1.13.1 installed from Experimental. I have no idea how, but also the
1.13.1 doc packages from Experimental had been installed. None of the other gstreamer packages had been update from 1.12.4, hence the weirdness. Now I have a consistent 1.12.4 set up everything is fine and libgstmpg123.so is there, as everyone knew it would be. 

The actual feedback is that libgstmpg123.so is not in gstreamer1.0- plugins-ugly 1.13.1
