Which events occur? In which order? Behaviour over a tee?

Hello,

when debugging my own program I came to the point where I saw e.g. a STREAM_START event, followed by a CAPS event.
Is there a description what events occur and especially in which order they are sent? I am not sure if at least the start is independent from the pipeline used,
or I must even distinguish between a live video pipeline and a video playback pipeline.

Events are duplicated in a tee in the same way as frame data?

Is there perhaps a GST_DEBUG setting, where I can trace all of these events so I can clearly see what is used and in which order?
