Modyfying outgoing caps in audiodecder class

Hi,

Is there a way to modify the caps that audio decoder base class is
producing?  The API of audio decoder takes a GstAudioInfo and convert it
into caps for the source pad.  How can I get the control over what caps are
produced from a subclass?

Any suggestion is appreciated.
