manipulating rtp packets

I'm currently using the rtph264pay and rtph264depay plugins for a personal
encoding project. I'm trying to XOR the output of rtph264pay with xFF, and
do the same for the input of rtph264depay as a practice for a mini
encryption and decryption without any success. I have read that RTP packets
have header size of 12 bytes, therefore I am not touching those with the
XOR. Is there anyone who can help me with this?
