Determining minimum build configuration for a given pipeline

Hi everyone,

I have a functioning pipeline that I wish to go to production with. Is
there a quick and efficient process for figuring out the build arguments
for compiling an absolute minimum gstreamer and its plugins to satisfy a
given pipeline?
I'm building on an embedded device, so trial and error is rather tedious.
