can we use gstreamer rtsp server in public ip address

Hi all,

Has there anyone been trying to run rtsp server in public domain in
production? Since the doc stated (
https://github.com/GStreamer/gst-rtsp-server/blob/master/docs/README#L26)
that

It's currently not meant to be used in high-load scenarios and because no
security audit has been done

The statement wrote at 15 Jul 2013, and it's 5 years from that time. Is the
statement still hold?
