How to sanitize audio file with AAC packet corruption

Suppose I have an audio mp4 file where some of the AAC packets are
corrupted.

Is there a way to use gstreamer to "sanitize" the file, where the corrupt
AAC packets are basically replaced by a short period of silence? Is there
an existing gstreamer element that can do this?
