rtsp-server - error handling

Hi,

I have an rtsp-server application and it is working. Sometimes, I got a
warning or error in the shell but I have no way to know about it unless my
log level is high enough. 

I modified my media class to bypass the message class and fetch pipeline
errors. This is ok for the pipeline errors but there is no callback or
anything but querying the media status to know if there is an error.

What is the correct way to approach this?
