Crash on GST 1.18.3, Intel Mac, Big Sur 11.2

This is a bug I reported a couple of weeks ago:

and I'm just posting this in the hope of getting one of the GST Mac 
developers interested (it doesn't crash on Windows or Linux). I would be 
a bit out of my depth trying to debug it myself.

It seems pretty serious to me, unless anyone can suggest a workaround.
