what gst source element to be used to push audio frames

Hi,

I have come across with recent experiment that 'appsrc' is something not
working for audio pipeline whereas it works perfectly fine for video
pipeline. 

I could capture audio frames of type (AAC) which I would like to push to a
gst source element. Which gst source element should be used to push audio
frames.
