Dowstream doesn't support crop for non-raw cap

I am currently running a pipeline to display rtsp stream.

After upgrading from gstreamer 1.14 to gstreamer 1.20, I am running into an issue with gstreamer element:

aspectratiocrop

The error message I am getting is:

"Dowstream doesn't support crop for non-raw cap"

My application has not changed in any way, again, I simply just upgraded from 1.14 to 1.20.

What would be the cause of this and is there any way to resolve?
