The name of the file should match the name you define here ^. There is two valie
option for a plugin named codecalpha:

  libgstcodecalpha.so or libcodecalpha.so

As for the missing get_type() symbol, I get you forgot to include some .o files
in your custom make file project. I would have written this in meson, much
easier.
