Safe To Run Two Independent Pipelines In A Single App/Process?

Hi,

I have two streams, one audio and one video. I want to know is it better to just have 1 app 1 pipeline and 2 separate unlinked chains?

Or is it better to have 1 app, 2 pipelines and 1 chain per pipeline (if so, then should I run each pipeline in a different thread)?
