Dynamically adding and removing branches of a tee

hello,

I test a pipeline by removing / adding branch of a tee dynamically : the 
branch contains a transcoder

That works but not all the time : sometime, the decodebin seems waiting 
something ...

when I add a new branch, do I need to simulate some events in the new 
branch ?

stream-start for example or others

is there some examples on the web ?
