Mpegvideoparse no chroma format

Hello everyone, I am trying to build a dynamic pipeline and depending on the chroma format present on the parser caps I want to select different decoders. For h265 and h264 I have no problem, but apparently this information is not in the caps of the mpegvideoparse element.

Is this supposed to be or is it a bug? I saw in the source code that this information is being collected but nothing is done with it...
