<div>i have an open source project that generates videos out of images. Previously i used mencoder but now (that was almost a year ago) i wanted to switch to the gstreamer framework. In principle it worked quite well. But mostly the gstreamer part based on doing a lot of googling and trial and error. Somehow it feels still unstable. Sometimes the rendering is not finishing properly (maybe end of stream event is not coming?). Sometimes the resulting video is cut off at the end (a few hundred milliseconds are missing?). And so on.</div>

<div>Maybe there is someone who wants to spend some time to review my gstreamer implementation. It is bundled in one python source file with around 500 lines of relevant code. Some hints like if i am on a completely wrong way or what can be implmented better would be very helpfull. Maybe one can run the application from source and experience some problems right away. Code contributions are welcome but not necessary. Like i already said hints or suggestions are good too.</div>

<div>The project is written in Python and i am using the python binding for gstreamer1.0. The project itself is hosted on Github. I don't want to abuse this mailing list to promote my project so i am careful with writing the name. But if that's ok i am going to send project details in the next mail.</div>
