<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Hi All<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Am wondering if someone out there can help me to construct a pipe to process video frames faster than 1x speed?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I am creating a GST pipeline with the following elements and caps:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">uridecodebin (download=TRUE) -> queue -> appsink (drop=FALSE, buffers=1).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I then have a test framework that uses this pipe and runs in a tight loop calling gst_app_sink_pull_sample().<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">With the above I have measured that the downloadbuffer constructed in uridecodebin appears to be downloading content at 1x speed.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I think this is the case because if I wait for 10 seconds and then pull 10 seconds of frames then I can see my test pull all the frames in 1sec.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">But if I wait less than 10seconds and try the same then I can see it delay (waiting for frames to download).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Basically what I am seeing is that for however many seconds of frames I want to pull I need to wait that corresponding amount of time or I will see a delay on the pipe.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Is there someway to tell the downloadbuffer to pull data quicker than 1x?<o:p></o:p></span></p>
