cross compiling Glibc

Hi,
   I am cross compiling Glibc 2.9 for Arm,i gave the command as below

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/glib_arm --host=arm-linux

I am getting error as The arm is not supported.

Can any one help me to sort out this problem?
