Is it a problem with submodules, or a problem with common? I was
hoping it was only bitbake that handled git submodules badly..
Well, I don't have a super-strong opinion about it.. I just wanted to
align build and commit-hook with the other gst trees. If the issue is
only submodules, I could update build-aux/update-common to add the
additional files that were needed.
