I'm about to send two patch sets.. the first with some misc cleanup,
to use the gst common submodule, autogen.sh, and standard pre-commit
trigger (and this small whitespace change).  And the second with the
changes to use config file for all the template caps.  These two
patch-sets supersede the previous patches I sent.
