hal, cdrom and gvm

It does show up and storage.automount_enabled is == 1.  It detects all
the drive settings correctly (Matshita UJ-812).  If I tail /var/log/
messages, when I insert my usbkeydrive I get insertion messages from
hal, but nothing when I insert a cd/dvd.
