fstab-sync stopped working in 2.6.10 snapshot

Automatic adding of storage devices to the /etc/fstab file stopped working
for me in the recent 2.6.10 snapshot (I've tried today and on monday). 

I don't know how exactly it stopped working, but fstab-sync command just
doesn't do nothing in 2.6.10 snapshot. hal-device-manager is detecting hot
usb storage device plugging just fine. 

I'm using hal 0.2.98-3 debian package, but I've tried hal cvs on monday
with same results.
