HAL Crypto Status Tracker

I just published a project tracker for the work I have been
doing with encrypted volumes.  The document is located at
http://www.flyn.org/easycrypto/easycrypto.html.

Right now the main thing that I am waiting for is hal's forthcoming
method invocation interface.  John Palmieri seems somewhat receptive to
the draft gnome-volume-manager patch that I submitted [1].

My luks-tools package includes a graphical format tool and implements
the luks-setup script that hald will execute [2].  Luks-tools needs a
lot of testing.

On a related note: we are now using LUKS instead of sesame.  Should we
remove the sesame project from CVS?
