{Spam?} pnp devices in cvs head

Hi,

I just compiled cvs head to give it a try.
On my system I have some devices that has 2 pnp ids:

cat /sys/devices/pnp0/00\:0a/id 
IBM0071
PNP0511

which seems to be a SIR/FIR device.

and
cat /sys/devices/pnp0/00\:07/id 
IBM0057
PNP0f13

which is a mouse.

I noticed that hald only reads the first PNP ID.
Is this the intended behavior ?
How should we deal with such devices ?
