Building on Solaris

Has anyone been able to build hal on Solaris.

I'm not having any luck, being blocked during configure because pci.ids
could not be found.

configure output...
checking for _LARGE_FILES value needed for large files... no
checking for /usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids... no
checking for /usr/share/misc/pci.ids... no
checking for /usr/share/pci.ids... no
checking for /var/lib/misc/pci.ids... no
configure: error: cannot find pci.ids. Use --with-hwdata to specify location

Any ideas?
