Hello,
Hal should check 'noauto' option in '/etc/fstab'
# grep boot /etc/fstab
/dev/hda1 /boot reiserfs
noauto,nodev,nosuid,noexec,notail 0 0
# lshal |sed -n /boot/,/should_mount/p
lshal version 0.4.5
volume.mount_point = '/boot' (string)
volume.policy.desired_mount_point = 'idedisk' (string)
volume.policy.mount_filesystem = 'reiserfs' (string)
volume.policy.should_mount = true (bool)
/boot is mounted auto by ivman because hal has
'volume.policy.should_mount = true'
