h-d-m does not update its device list any more

Hi!

We recently noticed that hal-device-manager does not respond to new or
removed devices any more. This worked fine with previous versions, but
with dbus 0.36.2 and hal 0.5.3 it doesn't any more.

Is that problem known? Is it a bug in the dbus python binding or in
h-d-m's usage of python-dbus?
