Thanks for importing this. Okay, what about what we discussed on IRC
earlier:

* get rid of the pam stuff
* get rid of on_ac_power
* move (remove?) the sysconfig stuff
* get rid of *all* the video handling stuff (except one hook) as this
will move to hal in the very near future.
