Heh, political minefield. :-)

I've got a presentation for GUADEC, which outlines what HAL can do, and
ignoring the GNOMEy stuff explains the core HAL PM stuff like the
backends and the Suspend() methods. Let me finish it off, then I'll post
it on my homepage (hughsie.com)
