devpath?

    hi all,
i tried to find the answer for the foll question, but cud not get it. can u pls help.
what does DEVPATH contain

DEVPATH=/block/sda/sda1
or
DEVPATH=/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.2/usb3/3-1

the first  statement i got from net and the below one by debugging the hald.
please reply whether the DEVPATH contains the node creation point created by the udev or the below part.
