Could someone expound on this a bit?  With 2.6.15 and the corresponding
udev release has hotplug transitioned completely to udevd, so no
/proc/sys/kernel/hotplug any more and hal gets all its events from
udevd? (now nicely ordered and synced with /sys and /dev).
