cdrom: open failed

I am running RHEL AS4 update Nahant Update 3 on HP Proliant DL380 server.
When I issue the dmesg command from root it displays a lot of information but also
it displays several cdrom: open failed messages.

Why is dmesg reporting such messages and how do I stop these messages and are these message indicate a serious 
problem or not?

Can anyone help me.
