Using HAL via Java

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask my question...

I am trying to connect to HAL via Java in a text-only environment. I am
using the binding provided on the HAL website.

I keep getting the following error:

32120: assertion failed "(*(const char*)_DBUS_FUNCTION_NAME) != '_'"
file "dbus-connection.c" line 2877 function
_dbus_connection_read_write_dispatch


Any ideas why this is so, and how I can get around this problem?
