it did help on the hp nc6230, so i will build this into s2ram, it
did not help on the Dell D600. This one still hang before returning
from the kernel if a framebuffer is used. Contrary to my previous post
it does not reboot hard, so it might be a kernel problem in vesafb (and
radeonfb, which shows the same behaviour).

=> we will need to express "this machine only supends without framebuffer"
   in the fdi files IMO.
