Kay,

All you're doing is showing your complete lack of UNIX & Linux
experience and knowledge with a statement like that. I won't even go on
to attempt to give you the countless valid reasons but I will tell you I
have been passing your statement around to IT people and we've all been
sharing a laugh at your expense.

This is clearly the most idiotic move. It would not break "silly"
setups. It would break many setups and I believe would be the breaking
point for many people who already approach HAL with some level of dislike.
