That is correct. Unstable. When I put in gnome myself a few months ago,
there were only a few apps in freerock unstable and it was by admission,
incomplete. When someone else is rolling out packages and it is unstable
or incomplete, I prefer to do it myself. In any event, as discussed
elsewhere, Gnome 2.17.2 requires hal >= 0.5.8.1 which has problems with
segfaulting. Now, I realize gnome 2.17.2 is unstable, but the issue here
was with hal.
