Btw, we should probably mmap these files or... at least do something
more clever than keeping them in dirty memory. On my box, that's half a
meg out of the window for pci.ids and pnp.ids. We can and should do a
lot better. Most of this is my fault, uh.. I mean. Patches welcome :-)
