hal does not start (Runner died error)

Hi all,

On a macbook pro (3rd gen), hal fails during startup for me.
I have attached the output of hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes.
This happens both with version 0.5.9.1 and git head as of yesterday.
Kernel version is 2.6.22, udev version is 115.

I tried to track down the cause of this startup failure, and I have
found something very wierd:
- If I remove /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor/10-power-mgmt-policy.fdi
hal starts up correctly and problem is gone.
- That fdi adds six methods (Suspend, SuspendHybrid, Hibernate,
Shutdown, Reboot, SetPowerSave) to the computer device. If I remove
_ANY_ two of them hal starts up as expected.

Could anyone please help me debugging/fixing this?

thanks,
